CHITABE LEDIBA CAMP

Classic Wilderness Camp

Chitabe Lediba Camp is situated in a diverse concession bordering on the Moremi Game Reserve, is located on the same island as its sister, Chitabe Camp. It is smaller and hence perfect for those who prefer their own private camp.

Accommodation at Chitabe Lediba Camp consists of five spacious East African-style tents, built on raised decks and with the same luxurious interiors as Chitabe. En-suite bathrooms inside complement the outdoor shower which overlooks the floodplain. Two family tents, with ajoining bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. A dining area, lounge and pool have glorious views over the surrounding floodplains, where elephant and other game come to drink during the day.

The diversity of habitat in the Chitabe Concession where Chitabe Lediba is located – flooded grasslands, wooded islands and still lagoons – provides a wide variety of wildlife, such as elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, reedbuck, buffalo, impala, zebra and hippo. Wild dogs are resident in the area and are regularly sighted. Wildlife viewing is hence the major activity at this camp, whether on walks, or day and night game drives in open 4×4 vehicles, accompanied by an experienced guide.

Chitabe Lediba Camp is popular with Safari Club clients and returning clients report consistently good predator sightings with Leopard and wild dog being frequently spotted.
