The best safari itineraries in Botswana will include small luxury camps located in private concession areas where activities such as boat and mokoro rides, night drives, walks and off-road driving are permitted.

Our luxury Botswana safari holidays can be undertaken at any time of year, the dry season runs from April to November with the cooler months from June to August, a safari ...

SAFARI CLUB TIP

Combine a safari through the Okavango Delta and Chobe Game Reserve with a few days in Victoria Falls for a delightfully varied safari holiday experience.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME OF YEAR TO GO?

Any time of year will provide a superb safari experience and outside peak season the cost of visiting can be surprisingly reasonable. The climate is semi-arid. Though it is hot and dry for much of the year, there is a rainy season, which runs through the summer months. Rainfall tends to be erratic, unpredictable and highly regional. It can be very cold at night in the winter months and also bone dry.
