SAFARI IN Uganda

Uganda known as the “pearl of Africa” is a land of contrasts. A small landlocked country that has emerged from its recent turbulent past and now welcomes visitors to what is certainly one of Africa’s most diverse and beautiful safari destinations.

Mist-shrouded, volcanic mountains and hot hazy savannah, dotted with wildlife, undulating hills of tea plantations, thick jungle and rainforest filled with life. There’s the Nile, twisting its way north like a shimmering ribbon. Snow-capped peaks, sandy freshwater beaches, and smiling faces everywhere. It’s all here, Uganda is a feast for all the senses.

Uganda’s National Parks are some of the best in Africa, with safaris celebrated as much for their magnificent scenery as well as for abundant wildlife.

The country lies in the transition zone between the savannah of East Africa and the rainforests of Central Africa which is reflected in the wildlife seen here.
