SABUK
Sabuk is positioned on the edge of the Laikipia plateau overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River. The 5 uniquely designed cottages all have river-facing views and all have ensuite bathrooms. The cottages are crafted from local stone and ancient cedar and olivewood from the local area. The main dining and living area also over looks the river. Sabuk can also be used for full walking and camel assisted walking safaris as guests can choose to spend the night in the lodge or a fully equipped fly camp. Guests can experience the true wilderness of Laikipia ending with a night in the Sabuk Fly camp.
A superbly varied flying safari circuit in Kenya could combine Sabuk camp with Saruni or Richards Camp in the Maasai Mara with Tortilis in Amboseli and a few days on the beach at Manda Bay Beach Resort in Lamu.
