What can we say? It was without doubt the best holiday either of us have ever had, and we have been on some good ones in the past. We would like to thank Paul for all his hard work, great patience and his very good advice.

SARUNI SAFARI CAMP
Saruni Safari Camp is a deluxe and intimate lodge set in a private conservation area outside the Masai Mara National Reserve. With accommodation for only 12 guests in six spectacular cottages, it is set in a remote valley in the heart of the most exciting wilderness of Kenya. Saruni offers a new concept of safari: a real African adventure experienced in harmony with Maasai warriors and coupled with high standards of style and comfort. The accommodations are furnished with colonial antiques, Persian carpets and African art. The atmosphere of the camp is informal but elegant. Each cottage has hot and cold running water, 220- volt electricity, elegant Italian bathroom fittings, polished wooden floors, and large bathrooms with canvas fronts that can be opened to offer you an amazing “shower with a view”. Décor is unique to each cottage and from the large verandahs one can enjoy a unique view of the Mara plains and watch the many wild animals that come to the nearby waterhole.
Saruni camp offers its own private spa treatment centre, the “Maasai Well-Being Space”. Among the treatments available, you can choose between the lymphatic drainage massage, decongestive or nourishing or purifyng facials, manicare, pedicare and the popular sport massage. All with an open view of the forest, where bushbuck, elephant and waterbuck roam freely. Saruni Wild (formerly called Campi ya Tembo) is a private tented camp and is located at 10 km from the main lodge. The tented camp offers guests a chance to experience the Maasai Mara from the inside of a tent.
A superbly varied flying safari circuit in Kenya could combine Saruni Lodge with \'Elsa\'s in Meru Mational Park or Loisaba Lodge in Laikipia and Tortilis in Amboseli and a few days on the beach at Manda Bay
