Mushara Outpost

Mushara Outpost is located in a small private game reserve on the Eastern boundary of Etosha National Park which it shares with its sister camps, Villa Mushara, Mushara Lodge and Mushara Bushcamp.

Accommodation is nestled amongst the trees of a dry river bed, also known as an omuramba. It has been designed and constructed with a unique combination of canvas, wood and glass. Each room has large glass windows and the doors slide open onto a private deck, enabling you to view the surrounding bush. The en-suite bathroom includes a shower with glass walls from floor to ceiling. A room with a view, bringing the outdoors inside!

The Mushara Outpost is composed of 8 tented rooms, of wood and canvas which are nestled on the banks of an ancient dry river bed known to the locals as "Omaramba".Each tent is set on a wooden deck, a meter and a half above the ground, giving a different perspective of the bush. Large glass sliding doors lead into the tent, and there are ample windows looking out into the bush which allow for plenty of air movement during night. For the very warm afternoons, air conditioning adds an extra level of comfort.

Dinner is enjoyed under the African stars. Breakfast and lunch can be taken on the veranda or in the house. This lodge also features a refreshing swimming pool which is perfect after a hot days game driving in the Etosha National Park.

Mushara Outpost provides comfortable accommodation mainly aimed at the higher end of the self drive market.
