WESTERN CAPE REGION
Safari Club has a number of attractive destinations in this region and can offer first class lodges and hotels at all destinations.
The Winelands offer the sybaritic pleasure of gourmet eating and drinking at the many top class wineries and restaurants. Many are in a picture postcard setting of gabled homesteads set against craggy mountains. With clean air and blue skies The Winelands combine well with our other destinations to make for a varied holiday experience.
The Garden Route is a slender stretch of coastal plain between Mossel Bay and Storms River Mouth.
This piece of paradise is bisected by rivers coming down from the mountains behind and tumbling down to the rocky shores and sandy beaches.
The area offers great sightseeing, walking, fishing and whale watching as well as a host of other attractions including some magnificent championship golf courses all at a reasonable cost.
Cape Town has one of the most dramatic locations in the world and is well worth a visit in its own right with Table Mountain rising up from the centre of the city it is undoubtedly a beautiful place.
There are many attractions here including Chapmans Peak Drive, visits to Robben Island (where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated for many years) as well as day trips to Hermanus for whale watching and to The Winelands for Tasting or just to admire the scenery.
We are able to offer an interesting selection of tours to these and the many other worthwhile sights in this area.
The Western Cape is best visited in the South African summer between December and April with the months of February to April being the best time after the local holiday crowds have gone.
