ELSA'S KOPJE
Elsa’s Kopje was named after Elsa the lioness who was made famous by George and Joy Adamson in the film “Born Free”. Situated on a kopje, meaning small hill, the lodge camouflages itself into the hillside of Mughwango Hill, George Adamson’s original camp. Every cottage is uniquely designed and crafted from the natural features of the hill. Each cottage at Elsa's Kopje has spacious double or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms and a it’s own private butler. There is an open bar, lounge and dining room. Elsa’s Private House is set slightly apart from the main lodge. It has 1 double room and 1 twin both with en-suite bathrooms. There is a living and dining area, which falls neatly into its own private swimming pool. The main lodge also has its own pool with a view of the Meru plains.
A superbly varied flying safari circuit in Kenya could combine Elsa's Kopje with Governors Il Moran Camp or Richards Camp in the Maasai Mara with Tortilis in Amboseli and a few days on the beach at Manda Bay
