Mowani Mountain Camp

Each Tent has crisp white linen, en-suite bathrooms, and a wooden deck looking out over the wonderful Damaraland landscape. The camp has a nice little swimming pool tucked in amongst the rocks which is perfect for cooling off after a hot day on safari.
Daily activities at Mowani include game drives in search of desert-adapated elephants, rhino and antelope; nature walks amid the fascinating the desert-adapted flora and fauna; and visits to prolific ancient rock painting sites made by the San hunter-gatherers thousands of years ago.
In our opinion this excellent safari camp is an excellent place to stay for a few days as part of a self drive tour through Southern Damaraland.
