Mushara Bush Camp
The latest addition to the Mushara Collection is the family friendly Mushara Bush Camp, situated just 10 kilometers from the Von Lindequist gate of the world famous Etosha National Park.
Mushara Bush Camp has 16 tents, built from wood, canvas and local limestone – materials which help keep the tents cool in the hot afternoon sun. They are spacious and airy, with roof-to-floor windows, small private verandas, and en-suite bathrooms overlooking the surrounding bush. Each room is equipped with a fan, mosquito nets, a safe and a tea/coffee station. There are four family tents which are able to accommodate a family of four with younger children.
The main area at Mushara Bush Camp includes a guest lounge, a bar and a restaurant; breakfast, lunch and dinner are usually served on the camp's thatched veranda. Beside this, there's a swimming pool to relax and cool off from the heat, and a secure parking area. For its younger guests, Mushara Bush Camp has a childrens pool and play area, supervised by childminders. In the early evenings, a camp fire is lit for guest to sit around and enjoy the end of the day.
Activities from Mushara Bush Camp focus on morning and afternoon game drives into the Etosha National Park where the year round game viewing is consistently good.
Like its sister camps Mushara Lodge and Mushara Outpost the camp is popular with self driving guests and guests on guided tours and offers a reasonably priced option in this area of Etosha.
