Onguma Treetop Camp


Onguma Tree Top Camp is the smallest of the camps in the beautiful Onguma Private Reserve on the Eastern Border of Etosha National Park.

Onguma Tree Top is ideal for guests wanting a traditional and adventurous safari experience; the camp is relaxed and intimate and comprises just four beautiful chalet type tree houses each built on raised wooden stilts set amongst the tree tops and offering beautiful views.  Each chalet has en-suite bathrooms and private outdoor showers. The chalets can be partially opened on one side for a magnificent view and a real bush experience. The units are simple, yet comfortable and overlook a busy waterhole.

The main area of the camp offers a dining room, cosy fire place and a restaurant; indoor as well as outdoor dining is available. The kitchen is open-plan and guests can interact with the chef while delicious meals are prepared.

Onguma Game Reserve is situated on the eastern side of Etosha, bordering Fisher's Pan. Onguma Game reserve consists of more than 20 000 hectares of pristine wilderness and protected land. The nature reserve offers over 30 different animal species including plains game, kudu, giraffe, eland, oryx, hartebeest, zebra, impala and more. Predators are active in the area and include lion, cheetah and leopard. The reserve is also home to a family of black rhino.

Game drives are taken both within the private reserve and in the Etosha National Park.
