Sossusvlei Desert Lodge is situated in the northern foothills of the huge privately owned Namibrand Nature Reserve. The reserve lies on the eastern boundary of the Namib Naukluft National Park about twenty six kilometers from the main gate at Sesriem.

In this spectacularly beautiful location, are ten split level spacious and luxurious air conditioned suites each complete with an outdoor shower. Each suite has a dramatic skylight over the bed for late night star gazing in the incredibly clear air. There's usually a resident astronomer here to reveal the cosmos, using a professional, computer-controlled telescope.
Activities include morning and evening game drives in the Namibrand Reserve and there are marked trails for the independent explorer to use.The lodge arranges guided tours to the Sesriem Canyon and the dunes at Sossusvlei.If you're up for something more active, quad biking adventures and hot air balloon flights are also possible.
