Late Availabilty Safaris in Kenya
We still have some availability for July to August at our Luxury Kenya Safari Camps and Lodges due to bookings being slower than usual during the early part of 2008 when Kenya experienced civil unrest following the disputed election results.
This has resulted in availability at some of our very finest safari camps and lodges during the school holidays and coinciding with the annual wildebeest migration.
The opportunity to visit the Maasai Mara and other destinations in Kenya without the crowds of tourist minibuses usually expected during peak periods is an unusual opportunity to see Kenya at its best. The migration is predicted to be particularly spectacular this year and we would urge clients to visit a country which is now peaceful and incredibly welcoming to witness the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth, without the crowds.
There is also availability during the slightly less costly October period when the migration will begin crossing back over the Mara river and into the Serengeti.
A six night two centre all inclusive flying safari featuring Elsas Kopje in Meru National Park and Richards Camp in the Maasai Mara in October would cost £2200 per person sharing on a Nairobi to Nairobi basis.
A similar trip featuring Offbeat Meru and Offbeat Mara Camps would cost £1780 per person sharing.
For those with the time and budget a few additional days at the beach in a five star hotel can be added at a reasonable cost
