Wild Dog Sightings

18/06/2007

Safari Club are always pleased to hear of sightings of Africa’s endangered wild dogs by our clients in the area of our safari camps.

Sightings are both very exciting and quite rare as wild dogs range over vast distances rarely staying in the same area for long.

The exception is when they den in preparation for giving birth to pups. If you are fortunate enough to be on safari in the area when this happens then some truly memorable game viewing can be expected whilst the wild dogs are confined to a limited range.
This usually happens between June and August.

Safari Club are delighted that clients who have booked a safari with us at both Malamala in the Sabi Sands area of South Africa and the Kwando concession in Botswana should have the priviledge of this exceptional safari experience, as both have reported a den in their concession areas this year.

If you would like to book a safari at either of these safari locations e mail at info@safari-club.co.uk
