Prince William recently proposed to his girlfriend Kate Middleton at a location on Mount Kenya whilst holidaying in the Laikipia Plateau. The Prince is known to love Africa, its people, spectacular scenery wildlife and has visited the romantic Kenyan destination of Lewa Downs Conserbvancy a number of times.

Days 1 to 3 are spent at the in the twelve room, luxury, tented Lewa Safari Camp at Lewa Downs on the Laikipia Plateau. The Conservancy boasts excellent "Big Five" game viewing and has ten per cent of Kenya's wild black Rhinos.
Days 4 to 6 are spent at Elephant Pepper Camp, a small, authentic bushcamp in the Mara North Conservancy with a full range of Safari acivities including day and night game drives in 4x4 safari vehicles, guided walks with an armed guide and following elusive game off road.
Days 7 to 10 are spent at the family run Kinondo Kwetu on the dazzlingly white, palm frined Galu beach on the South Coast. Facilities include, Scuba, horse riding, kite surfing, sailing, deep sea fishing, water skiing, tennis, massage & beauty treatments
