Uganda Gorilla trekking by air
With immediate effect, Aerolink Uganda has launched regular flights to Bwindi Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Murchison Falls National Park. This is a very exciting development for the fledgling tourist industry in this beautiful and very safe country. For the first time it will be possible to access Uganda's prime game viewing and Gorilla and Chimpanzee trekking areas at an afordable price without the very lengthy drives previously required.
It will now also be practical to take short breaks to see the Gorillas and to combine gorilla trekking in Uganda with nearby Kenya andTanzania.
Uganda's beautiful National Parks do not at present rival their counterparts in Tanzania and Kenya in terms of wildlife volume and variety and the accopmmodation is generally not to the same standard. However we believe that this is largely compensated by the spectacular scenery and the unusually friendly people, the variety of primates and great apes and superb bird watching. Uganda is possibly the most affordable of Africa's premier safari destinations and with excellent direct flight connections from London combined with the new internal scheduled flights we expect that tousism will start to increase very quickly.
