South Africa Safaris-Luxury Safaris in South Africa-Tailor Made South Africa

South Africa is proud to call itself “The Rainbow Nation.” South Africa is one of the great cultural meeting points of the African continent. A colourful mixture of tribal groups, white settlers, people from the Indian sub continent and Asia (originally brought to South Africa as indentured laborers) and mixed race groupings make South Africa a fascinating place to visit.

South Africa has the most sophisticated infrastructure on the continent and an enlightened conservation and environmental policy ensuring that a safari in South Africa with its natural attractions will be there for future generations to enjoy and can easily be visited at an affordable cost by locals and South Africans alike.

The attractions of a South African holiday range from first rate game reserves including the Kruger National Park to beautiful mountain scenery, clean, deserted beaches, sophisticated vibrant cities, charming coastal towns along The Garden Route and East coast, Zulu and Boer War historical sites and of course Cape Town and the surrounding wine lands.

The range of activities in South Africa is equally extensive and in addition to the usual safari activities, there is shore and water based whale watching, white water rafting, golf on some of the most attractive courses in the world, deep sea fishing, trout fishing, scuba diving, cage diving with great white sharks, wine tasting tours, cultural township tours and visits to the battlefields.

Safari Club can to put together any combination of destinations and activities within South Africa to ensure that you will enjoy your journey of a lifetime to the full. Safari Club aim is to give our clients the best value safaris in South Africa without any compromise on the quality of your safari experience.

When to visit South Africa depends very much on what you want to do and see. A safari holiday in South Africa is possible year round. It is a generally sunny country but as a rule of thumb we suggest that the summer months, December to April are best for Cape Town and The Garden Route. The excellent road network and pleasant climate means the major South African game parks can be visited at any time.

Safari Club are pleased to represent a number of small, exclusive, eco friendly resorts and camps located in the less touristed areas of the National Parks and in exclusive private reserves and private concessions on the borders of South Africa's superb National Parks.

We also offer top quality lodges and hotels in other areas of the country including the St Lucia Wetlands, the malaria free Garden Route and Eastern Cape and also historical lodges in Zululand with its world famous battlefield sites at Rorke’s Drift, Isandlwana and Spion Kop.
