Kings Camp

With its unique romantic ambience, Kings Camp invites guests to relax in the bushveld in fine colonial style. Situated in the world-famous Timbavati Private Nature Reserve (part of the greater Kruger National Park) the camp is a game-viewing haven that features elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo.

Traditional thatched suites are spacious and luxuriously equipped with air-conditioning, mini-bar and en-suite bathroom and outdoor showers. Camp facilities include a lounge-bar and refreshing swimming pool with a viewing deck overlooking a waterhole and a well equipped gym. The ten luxury suites have outdoor and indoor showers, air-conditioning, mosquito nets, safes as well as telephones and mini-bar. Accommodating a maximum of twenty guests. The lounge/dining room, bar, pool terrace and game viewing platform overlooks a very active waterhole

Morning and afternoon game drives with knowledgeable rangers in open vehicles. You will be served tea, coffee and biscuits on your morning game drive and drinks and canapés on your afternoon game drive. Your afternoon game drive gets back after dark, which gives you the opportunity to spot our nocturnal animals with a spotlight.

Your private safari at Kings Camp allows access big game country, with lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo thriving alongside giraffe, zebra and a variety of antelope. Bird watching is wonderful, with various eagles, owls, francolins, kingfishers, rollers and weavers among the over 300 recorded species.

Game drives are conducted by experienced rangers and Shangaan trackers in open 4X4 vehicles, with excellent photographic opportunities. Guided bush walks provide an insight into nature's finer details and the chance to track game on-foot.
