SABORA PLAINS TENTED CAMP
Singita Sabora Plains Tented Camp is situated on the Serengeti plains in the private and exclusive Grumeti Reserves which border the Serengeti in the North West. Sabora Plains is one of the most upmarket tented camps in the Serengeti and is usually accessed by air as they do not offer drive in safaris.
Sabora Plains is beautifully decorated in grand campaign 1920s style. Sabora features six luxurious tents, all tents have en suite bathroom, bath and open air shower, dressing area with vanity table and hair dryer, electronic safe, air conditioning and overhead fan, shared library tent area with private bar and fridge, wooden deck, direct dial telephone and wireless internet.
Each tent has a reading area and viewing deck with Swarovski spotting scope and some have basic wheelchair access.
The main mess and living area of the camp features large airy lounge and dining tents and a spacious covered deck overlooking the Serengeti plains, full bar, tented health spa with two therapy rooms, television cabinet with satellite TV/DVD and Playstation, climate controlled wine cabinets, swimming pool, jacuzzi, tennis court and Trading Store.
Clients have access to Sasakwa Lodge Equestrian Centre’s Facilities: home to 16 horses, a mix of polo ponies, part thoroughbreds and warm blooded sport horses, between 14 and 16 hands. All horse activities are led by qualified professional horse guides.
The all inclusive rates at Sabora Plains Tented Camp include three meals per day served in a variety of locations, game drive snacks, high tea, bush snacks and canapes, laundry and valet services. Rates also include all drinks, fine wines, sparkling wines and selected champagnes and cognacs, cigars and cigarettes. Activities including: game drives in open vehicles, walks, night drives, horseback out rides on the plains, mountain biking and archery all of which are facilitated with highly experienced guides.Other facilities available at Sabora are tennis, badminton, lawn croquet and use of swimming pools.
Sabora Plains Tented camp is perfect for clients with high end budgets who would like a one stop safari where all facilities and activities are on hand.
The game viewing is excellent as the migration passes through between May and early July with reasonable resident game at other times.
