The North West Provinces is one of South Africa’s lesser known regions, which does however contain much interest to tourists and has some excellent wildlife parks including the excellent Madikwe Game Reserve and Pilansberg National Park.
The landscape consists of largely flat regions of scattered trees and grassland.
For convenience, due to its near proximity we include the beautiful Waterberg Area which is actually in neighboring Limpopo Province. The Waterberg district offers up a fantastic tourism experience that combines some of South Africa’s best features including spectacular mountains, “Big Five” game viewing and lots of tourist activities.
This area is Malaria Free and with a wealth of activities, is particularly well suited to family holidays.
