The quality of guiding in Zimbabwe is of a very high standard and game concentrations in the principal National Parks are excellent with most of the larger animals including elephant and lion plentiful.
Some of the best game viewing areas are in the Zambezi Valley in the north of the country and combine perfectly with a trip to the spectacular Victoria Falls. The climate is tropical, although markedly moderated by altitude. There is a dry season, including a short cool season during the period May to September when the whole country has very little rain. The rainy season is typically a time of heavy rainfall from November to March.
