Zambezi Explorer

A luxury safari showcasing the best of Northern Zimbabwe including Victoria Falls, Hwange National Park and Mana Pools in the Lower Zambezi Valley. You will start your safari with a couple of nights at Victoria Falls in a comfortable hotel close to the entry gate.

You will have time to visit the falls and maybe enjoy some of the exciting activities on offer here which include white-water rafting and canoeing, bungee jumps, river cruises, microlight and helicopter flights.

You will then travel to the scenic northern area of Hwange National park and a private safari concession within the park. This area has excellent game viewing and is one of the best areas in the park to see wild dog as well as lion and other predators, large and small.

The next leg of your journey is a game drive transfer south through the park to your next camp which is located in the heart of the area that was famous as the home of “Cecil” the huge male lion that ruled the females in this area for many years before his well-known untimely demise.

The final part of your safari takes you on a flight past Lake Kariba to the Mana Pools National park, a stunning World Heritage site and home to fabulous wildlife both on land and in the river. Here you will enjoy both land and water based game viewing.
