This safari is a perfect combination of outstanding game viewing and idyllic beach holiday visiting South Africa popularly known as the rainbow nation and Mozambique a large but relatively new and off the beaten track, tourist destination.

Your holiday starts in the Sabi Sand Private Reserve adjacent to the unfenced Kruger National Park. Sabi Sand is a real “Big Five” wildlife hotspot famous for its superb predator sightings and arguably the best place in Africa for leopard sightings. Guiding in Sabi Sand is extremely good and most guests visiting for more than a couple of days will get to see big cats, rhino, elephant and most of Africa’s other iconic wildlife with the chance of also seeing rarer species such as wild dog and cheetah.

After your safari you will fly to Vilanculos in Mozambique from where you will have a short drive to your hotel on the mainland.  This part of the Mozambique coast is a little piece of paradise where the Azure waters of the Indian Ocean lap against palm fringed tropical beaches and the rich waters and coral reefs of the Bazaruto Archipelago are home to colorful fish, whales, turtles and dolphins. This also one place where you can still find the extremely rare and endangered Dugong, a large marine mammal said to be related to the elephant.
