Migration Highlights

A privately guided adventure Safari though the classic East African safari lands of Northern Tanzania with your personal safari guide and own 4×4 safari vehicle.

This safari visits the National Parks of Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti National Reserve travelling overland with no backtracking or long transit days and returns to Arusha or extend your trip on to Zanzibar by air.

The safari allows considerable flexibility and freedom to plan your daily route and activities in consultation with your guide, to suit the interest of the guests and local game movements.

Accommodation is in permanent or semi-permanent, comfortable safari tents with en-suite facilities and proper beds mostly hosted and run by local Maasai staff.

Your Safari includes a visit to the Northern Serengeti. This area of the Reserve, due to its remote location, sees far less visitors than other parts of the Serengeti and is reminiscent of the Maasai Mara before the advent …

OUR OPINION

This is a great value for money safari and educational experience with superb wildlife. The Safari features the main highlights of Northern Tanzania’s superb National Parks with great game viewing and wonderful scenery whilst staying in comfortable tented accommodation.

“Migration Highlights” is a seasonal safari following the great migration as it reaches the Northern Serengeti with game viewing as good as it gets anywhere in the world. (For other seasons see “Born to Run”) As you have the services of a private vehicle and guide you have the freedom to roam which is not usually possible on other safaris.

WHO SHOULD GO

This is a great adventure safari that all will enjoy, with superb game viewing and a cultural and historical aspect including the opportunity to meet the local people and learn about their culture and customs. This private safari is sure to appeal to photographers and special interest clients as there are no time constraints or restriction on routes followed. “Migration Highlights” is also perfect for small groups and as a family adventure.
